5.5. Charcoal filter (if available on your hood
– not supplied)
If you can’t evacuate the extracted air outdoor, you can choose to
use an active charcoal filter. The odors will be trapped in the filter.
Normally you should change the filter every 3 to 6 months according
to your cooking habits.
NOTE:
please keep in mind that when you use a charcoal filter, the
suction power will be lowered.
Proceed as follow (
Fig.16
):
•
Remove the metallic filters.
•
Place the first filter on one of the sides of the motor, make sure the
center shape of the filter is correctly aligned with the support on the
motor. Press slightly and turn at the same time to the left to fix the
filter (
Fig.16
).
•
Make sure the filter is securely locked.
•
Proceed the same way for the second filter.
•
To remove the filter, turn the other way until you can pull it out.
5.6. Replacing the lamp bulb
IMPORTANT
•
The bulb must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons.
•
Always disconnect the hood from the
mains. Pull out the plug and with until the
lamp has cooled down.
•
When handling bulbs hold with a cloth or
gloves to ensure perspiration does not come in
contact with the bulb as this can reduce the life
of the bulb.
•
Remove the metallic filters.
•
Press on both clips (
Fig.19
) and press at the same time to the
outside until the lamp comes out (
Fig.20
).
•
Open the connection box and disconnect the lamp (
Fig.21
).
•
Connect the new lamp and proceed the other way.
