MANUAL CHARGE FUNCTION

WARNING! This batterycharger is provided with a switch for a manual or automatic charge.

When the switch is in manual position the automatic charge is disabled.

DO NOT OVERCHARGE!

This is not an automatic metod of charging. You must frequently monitor the charging

process (Fig. 1-2-3-4) to ensure the battery is not overcharged. Overchanging will damage the battery.

disconnect the feed cable from the mains power outlet.

START FUNCTION

In battery chargers with the START function, help in starting the vehicle is possible whenever the battery does not
have enough power to turn the starter motor. It is advisable to carry out a fast battery charge before switching to the
start the engine..

Follow the work/pause cycles given on the appliance. In conditions of degraded battery and inefficient vehicle, do not
insist with prolonged starts as this could affect the good operation of the battery charger and the elements inside the
battery.

AUTOMATIC START FUNCTION

Place the selector on START position.
The starter occurs automatically when the vehicle will be swiched on.
In case the vehicle should start the charging, the batterycharger will go back in a charging maintenance condition
(Fig. 4 AUTOMATIC) and it will be possible to swich off the appliance.

MANUAL START FUNCTION

Place the selector on START position and use remote control to activate START function.

Follow   the   work/pause   cycles  given   on   the  appliance.   In   conditions   of  degraded   battery   and   inefficient
vehicle, do not insist with prolonged starts as this could affect the good operation of the battery charger and
the elements inside the

battery.
