OPERATING

INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING. Always 
disconnect your vacuum 
cleaner from the mains 
supply before maintaining
and or assembling it.

Before you can start using your
vacuum cleaner you must attach the

hose (7)

 and accessories.

Insert the 

hose (7)

 into the air 

intake duct on the top of the 
vacuum cleaner. Press until it 
clicks into position. To remove 
the 

hose (7)

, press firmly on the

two release buttons on the hose
sleeve and remove the 

hose (7)

from the intake duct. See fig. 1.

Fit the 

extension tubes (2)

 and

which ever other accessory is 
required to the 

hose (7)

. See fig. 2.

NOTE:

 The 

combination floor

nozzle (4)

 has two settings. Each

can be selected by using the foot-
operated switch on the left hand side
of the nozzle. See fig.3.

(A) When cleaning hard floors, 

the bristles should be in the
extended position.

(B) When cleaning carpets, the

bristles should be in the 
retracted position.

NOTE: 

The 

crevice nozzle (12)

 and

dusting brush (14)

 are stored in

the recess at the rear of the vacuum
cleaner. See fig. 4.

The 

crevice nozzle (12)

 can be

used for crevices, corners, 
baseboards and between 
cushions. See fig. 5.

The 

dusting brush (14)

 is used

for furniture, blinds, books, lamp
shades and shelves. See fig. 6.
