oven products for the cook top, it
may damage the surface of some
parts.
Periodical cleaning is essential to
keep cook top resistant to hot
temperatures. Spill and splash
should be cleaned using a paper
towel and water with soap. This
should be done quickly after it
happens or right after the cooking
process is done. Be careful if the
cook top is hot. For spills, splashes
or burned material, use a razor blade.
Keep it to a 30 angle position to
remove any food left.
The cook top was designed to make
the cleaning process easier. Due to
the sealed burners, cleaning is easier.
Sugar spills
Sugar spills may cause dents on the
surface of the cook top. So in this
case, should be clean when cook top
is still hot. Finish the cleaning
process by applying a cleaning
cream for glass surfaces. Use a wipe
and paper towel, check to avoid any
cleaning residue.
Do not use this on glass cook top
1. Metallic or plastic abrasive
sponge, because it may scratch
the cook top and make cleaning
more difficult.
2. Any material that may melt
(plastic, aluminum paper, sugar or
any food with high sugar content)
3. Heavy duty cleaners
4. Bleach, ammoniac, hydrofluoric
acid and other chemical cleaners.
5. Sponges, clothes or dish clothes.
Always use paper towel to clean
the glass surface. Loose thread or
dirty on the clothes or sponge
may burn or discolor the cook top
How to clean burner grates
Be sure that burner and grates are
cold before touching them. Cast iron
grates might be clean with hot water
and soap. Rinse well and dry them
before installing them back. Be sure
that they are properly installed before
using the burner.
How to remove burned food
Put the grate in a recipient with lid or
a plastic bag. Add a quarter of a cup
of ammoniac and soak for about 30
minutes. Wash, rinse well and dry.
If electrode is damaged or broken, the
burner will not light on because it is not
sparkling. Manual ignition is possible with
a light.
To assure proper gas flow and ignition,
avoid spills, food, cleaning residues or any
other material on the gas opening.
Gas should flow freely through the small
hole for the the burners light properly.
If the gas hole gets dirty or block, use a
thin wire or needle to clean.
Always keep burner cup in place when
burner is in use.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting the authorized service center in case of problems while
using your cooktop, check if the cause is related one of the failures mentioned
below, that can be easily repaired without the presence of a technician.
