fuse on the
circuit board is open.
Check the 15V ouput line form the power (source circuit board.)
Input voltage measurement of a C.B.A.
Check voltage supply from circuit board to remote controlle
r.
Check for open or short circuit.
Check maintenance monitor no. 15
Check inlet water temperature
Check if high-limit switch is triggered or improperly connected. Check the resistance through the thermisto
r.
Check for open or short circuit,or improper connection. Check the resistance through the thermisto

Check for open or short circuit,or improper connection.
Check remote controller and circuit board. Check connection of remote control cord and cord to circuit board.
Remove the cause of excess current, then replace the 10
A
fuse.
If there i
s
AC 120V supplied to the power source circuit board, but there i
s not
DC 15V out of it, the power source circuit board needs to be re
placed.
Check for improper or damaged connections between the two board
s, and for an
open circuit on the circuit board.
If voltage is abnormal, replace circuit board.
If there is an open or short circuit, or a ground fault is dete
cted, replace the cord.

A
blinking 10 indicates there has been a loss of gas input, but
combustion will
continue. In order to reset the unit, the power must be disconn
ected and
then reconnected. If the overheat prevention device (Thermal fuse) has fused, it
has been exposed to
temperatures in excess of 363
F
.
First fix the cause of the high temperature exposure
(hole in
heat exchange
r
, etc.) and then replace the overheat prevention device
(Thermal fuse).
If there is a voltage abnormality
, replace the circuit board.
Compare to temperature characteristic list on pg. 17. Check for open or short circuit or for an improper connection.

If the flow monitor indicates higher than the minimum, the circ

to be replaced.
OK if K > 28.5/Flow Rate (GPM) + inlet water temp (°F), where K
= 136°F for
127°F or lower temperature setting, K= Set

emp (C) + 18°F for 127°F or more
setting
.
Also check thermistor temperature characteristics.
Make Sure there is no flame left over in the burne

. Check for short or open
circuit. Reset unit by turning power of
f and on. Replace high-limit if code remains.
less than 122°F using thermistor characteristics
If abnormal combustion is detected, the error code will flash an
d combustion stops.
This error code can be reset by turning the water heater OFF on
the operation
panel. Remove the cause of the abnormal combustion.
If an open or short circuit or a ground fault exists, replace R
emote Control cord.
If this error code is displayed and the water heater has been i
n use for 10 years,
the unit has reached the end of its life cycle and should be re
placed.
Check for abnormal combustion. Check flue and air inlet for blockage or obstruction.
Check for abnormal combustion. Check flue and air inlet for blockage or obstruction.
Check remote control cord for a short or open circuit, or for a ground fault.
Check for abnormal combustion. Check flue and air inlet for blockage or obstruction.
Check for melting or improper connection of the overheat prevention device (Thermal fuse).
Check maintenance monitor No.48. If the fan has increased its
speed by 108 -
109 %, the error code will flash but combustion continues. If
the fan has increased
its speed by
1
10 %, the error code will flash and combustion stops.
