Cleaning and servicing
Caution! Do not use sharp cleaning agents,
brushes, sponges which cause scratching or
abrasive sand.
External cleaning
Clean the external parts with a cloth moistened with a
mild detergent solution.
Cleaning the metal
filter
Warning!
There is danger of fire if these cleaning in-
structions are not observed!
Withdrawing metal filter
1. Press metal filter (5) up at rear and withdraw for-
wards.
Cleaning metal filter
2. Wash the metal filter (5) every 2 to 4 weeks in a
dishwasher or in a detergent solution, rinse while
hot and allow to dry fully.
Place filter in the dishwasher so that the water
can circulate well.
Discoloration of the filter is normal and does
not affect its function.
Replacing metal filter
3. Press metal filter (5) up at rear and engage at front.
Cleaning filter area
Clean the filter area with a mild detergent solution each
time the metal filter is changed or cleaned.
