Instructions for converting cooktop to operate on Liquefied Petroleum Gas
STEP 6:
REPLACE THE BYPASS ORIFICES WITHIN THE VALVE FOR EACH BURNER LOCATION WITH
THE ORIFICE NUMBER LISTED IN THE TABLES ON PAGE 2. Refer to Figure 1 “ Burner Sizes and Identifi-
cation” to assure the bypass orifice is replaced at the correct location.
AT EACH BURNER REMOVE THE BYPASS ORIFICE
AND O-RING USING 1/8 FLAT BLADE SCREWDRIVER.
THE CONVERSION ORIFICE IS PROVIDED WITH A
REPLACEMENT O-RING ASSEMBLED TO THE
BYPASS NEEDLE.
LOCATION AND ORIENTATION OF THE BYPASS
NEEDLE IS SHOWN IN FIGURE 5.
REPLACE WITH CORRECT ORIFICE (BYPASS
NEEDLE) AS DETERMINED IN STEP 2.

Refer to the “ Burner Sizes and Identification” Chart to assure the orifice is replaced at the correct
location. Save the orifices removed from the appliance for future use.
STEP 7:
CONVERT REGULATOR TO LP PRESSURE REQUIREMENTS. ALL models are equipped with a
convertible pressure regulator. Refer to Figure 6 for conversion instructions. NOTE: Flanged end of spool
piece contacts the spring shown for LP/Propane use.
ALL MODELS ARE PACKAGED WITH THE
REGULATOR DISASSEMBLED FROM THE
COOKTOP. CONVERSION IS SIMPLFIED IF
PERFORMED PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
A SMALL FLANGED SPOOL IS LOCATED
DIRECTLY UNDER REGULATOR CAP. REMOVE
CAP USING ADJUSTABLE WRENCH AND
REVERSE SPOOL FOR LP/PROPANE AS
SHOWN IN FIGURE 6 AND REINSTALL CAP.
VERIFY THAT THE REGULATOR SUPPLIES
