Special safety instructions
Take extra care when vacuuming stairs due to risk
of falling.
Do not use for vacuuming up matches, hot ashes,
cigarette butts, hard or sharp objects, flammable
materials (petrol, solvents etc) or fumes from
same.
Do not use for vacuuming up harmful dust.
Do not cover suction/exhaust ports. Keep clothes,
hair and limbs clear of suction inlet.
Avoid running over power cable with vacuum.
Do not use on animals or people.
Preparation
Check plug is disconnected from mains.
Unfasten lock tabs (7) on vacuum base (8).
Lift top (6) off.
Remove dust bag when using as wet vacuum
cleaner.
Fit dust bag when using as dry vacuum cleaner.
Place top over base and fasten with lock tabs.
Fit short nozzle (b) to hose (a) at hose connector
(4) on front of base.
Fit metal tube (i) to long nozzle (c), and fit
appropriate nozzle to tube.
If no nozzle is to be used on hose, it can be used
to vacuum water or sludge up from a blocked
drain, washbasin etc.
Use
Wet vacuuming:
Check dust bag has been removed. Dust bag is
NOT suitable for wet vacuuming!
Insert plug in a mains socket. Switch on using
on/off button (5).
Empty and dry container when finished. Switch off
at on/off button. Disconnect from mains. Unfasten
lock tabs, remove top and pour water and sludge
out of container. Dry inside with a dry cloth and
reassemble.
