SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- before using the appliance for the first time please read carefully this operating manual
- The appliance should be connected to sockets compliant with current parameters given
on the housing
- the appliance shall be plugged in only to an earthed socket
- the appliance should be placed on a stable and dry surface
- do not move the appliance when there is hot water in
- do not lean over the appliance lid during the cooking process
- do not remove the lid (1) during the vaporization as you may get scalded by
the hot steam released from the steam bowls
- do not block the openings in the lid (1)
- do not hold your hands right over the appliance during the vaporization process
- The appliance should not be used by people (including children) with limited physical,
sensor and intellectual abilities unless supervised by a person responsible for their safety
- do not place the appliance near other heat sources
- do not use the appliance outdoors
- store the appliance unplugged, cooled down and emptied of any liquid
- this appliance is designed for domestic use only
- do not use the appliance without minimum water level in the reservoir (5)
- use only with original accessories supplied
- use the steam cooker away from anything that can be damaged by steam
- refer servicing to an authorized service centre. Modifying the appliance or using
spare parts or elements other than the original ones is forbidden and can expose the user to hazard
- the mains connection cable as well as the whole appliance shall be regularly checked for injuries.
Do not switch the appliance on if any injuries are found
- never use the kettle if the supply cord is damaged. If found damaged in any
way, consult the producer’s authorized service centre. The list of service centres
is to be found in the appendix and on www.eldom.eu
- when cooking at the same time products of different durations, put the biggest or those
requiring the longest cooking time into the lowest steam bowl
- to cook products of the size exceeding the steam bowl capacity, additional space
may be gained by removing the trays from the steam bowls Nos. 2 and 3
- by smaller quantities of products you can use only steam bowl No. 1 or Nos. 1and 2
- please remember to remove the distance ring (3) from the steam bowl to be covered
by lid (1) the appliance shall be easier to store by putting the steam bowls one into another
PRACTICAL TIPS
- before cleaning remove the power cable from the socket
- do not immerse the water reservoir (5) in water
- not dishwasher-safe
- do not use any cleansing agents which are strong and damage the surface
- wipe the housing with a moistened cloth
- to clean the base, remove any liquid still in the reservoir by tipping up the base over a sink.
Clean the inside with a damp cloth and allow to dry
CLEANING AND PRESERVATION
- the appliance is made of materials which can be recycled,
- it should be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic equipment
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
- this appliance is designed for domestic use only,
- it cannot be used for professional purposes or for other than
the intended use,
- improper use will nullify the guarantee. Warranty details in the appendix
