3. Installation
1. The device should be installed indoors, in stationary environment ONLY. Choose a location where unauthorised entry is most
likely (see Fig. No. 2).

With the lens facing direct sunshine, for instance in front of windows
t
Places with high temperature fluctuations, such as near fireplaces, boilers, ovens etc
t
Anywhere with high dust or air flow
t
In an area surrounded by metal or thick walls where the wireless connection may be lost
2. Screw in EWP1 mounting holder to the wall and attach the device.
3. Remove the front cover of the device (containing the detector lens) by removing the screw at the base (see Fig. No. 3).
4. Remove the plastic tab inserted between one of the battery terminals and battery slot (see Fig. No. 4).
5. Bind the device to the alarm system using ELDES Configuration Tool software. Open
Wireless Device Management
section and
enter a 8-digit wireless device ID located on the EWP1 enclosure and press Add button (see Fig. No. 5). The device can also be
bind by sending a corresponding command via SMS message. For more details, please, refer to the software‘s HELP section and
ELDES alarm system installation manual.
6. Upon the successful binding process, EWP1 icon, Battery Level and Signal Level become visible in
ELDES Configuration Tool
software’s
Wireless Device Management
section. If attempt to bind is unsuccessful, try to move EWP1 closer to the alarm
system device and bind anew.
7. EWP1 is ready for use.
NOTE:
If you are unable to bind the wireless device, please restore the parameters of the wireless device to default and try again.
