6. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Open EWD3 enclosure.
2. Remove the old battery from the battery slots.
3. Insert the new Primary 3V Lithium 1500mAh CR123A type battery based on the battery slot positive/negative terminals indicated on the PCB of EWD3.
4. Battery replaced.
• We strongly recommend to use quality brand batteries, such as: GP, Ansmann, Energizer.
• Only Primary 3V Lithium 1500mAh CR123A batteries can be used. Install only new, high quality and unexpired battery.
• The battery must be removed or plastic tab inserted between the battery slot and the battery if the device is not in use.
• In order to avoid fire or explosion hazards, the system must be used only with approved battery.
• Special care must be taken when connecting positive and negative battery terminals.
• Dispose old batteries only into special collection sites.
• Do not charge, disassemble, heat or incinerate old batteries.
• The battery status can be monitored in real-time using ELDES configuration software.
• The system sends an SMS text message to the listed user phone number as soon as the battery level runs below 5%.
7. RESTORING DEFAULT PARAMETERS
1. Press and hold the RESET button.
2. Hold the RESET button and watch the LED indicator quickly flash (for
approx. 5 seconds.).
3. Release the RESET button.
4. Parameters restored to default.
