M1 Setting the time and date

M10 Recording an emergency message

Recording begins after the beep; let go of the

key to stop recording. The recording will
then be played back automatically.
M11 Silent distress call
When the
Silent distress call
function is active,
neither a message nor a ringtone is audible (see
“help message”).

M12 Activating the distress call function
When the distress call function is activated, a
stored telephone number is called and a record-

to confirm. The phone has three melodies to
choose from. Use the

The melodies are played back during selection;
Melody 2 is the default setting.

M17 Teaching in/deleting call transmitter
The phone is supplied with an
RT26 wristband
transmitter
as
a call transmitter
. This is already
taught in to the phone. Additional wristband trans-
mitters or other Easywave call transmitters (e.g.
RT27 necklace transmitter) must be additionally
taught into the phone.
Teaching in a call transmitter
1. Press the key, then the
/
keys until
EMERGENCY TRANSMITTER
appears on
the screen.
2. Press
OK
to confirm.
3. Select
REGISTR.
using the
/
keys, press
OK
to confirm.
The word
REGISTR...
will appear on the screen
for 3 seconds. Now, press and hold the call trans-
mitter key for 1 second until
OK
appears on the
screen. You can use this process to teach in up to
5 call transmitters. If the connection has not been
established, the word
ERROR
will appear on the
screen and you will need to repeat the process.
Deleting a call transmitter
If you select
DELETE?
,
all
taught in call transmit-
ters will be deleted.

M18 Recording, changing or deleting
a name announcement
If
caller information is
active, the phone will dis-
play and announce the caller’s number when
you receive a call. If this number is stored in your
contacts list, the name will also be displayed. If a
name announcement has also been recorded for
the number, the name will be announced rather
than the number.
1. Press the key, then the
/
keys until
REC. NAME
appears on the screen.
2. Press
OK
to confirm.
3. Use the
/
keys to select the number for
which you would like to record a name.
4. Press and hold the
OK
key. After the beep, say
the text or name loudly and clearly into the mi-
crophone. Then release the
OK
key. Record-
ing will stop automatically after 4 seconds and
the new recording will be played back,
5. To create additional recordings. repeat steps 3
+ 4 or press the
keys to exit recording mode.
