Maintenance of the water tank

1.  Discoloration of the water tank and

white particles floating in the water.

Red rust-like spots, milky or black
discoloration on the water tank, and white
floating objects are caused by minerals in the
water and are not caused by discoloration or
deterioration of the water tank itself.
Although this is not a hygiene problem, it is
advisable to clean the inner of the water tank
periodically.

1.  Insert about 15-20g of store brought citric

acid into the water tank. Add water until the
water level reaches full line marking. Close
the lid.

      Note

: Do not fill the water more than the full

line marking. Please refer to the maximum
water level marking under the product
descriptions. If the appliance is overfilled, it
may cause splashing, which might arise a
      hazard to the user.

2.  Connect the receptacle to the appliance

first, and then connect the power plug to the
wall outlet. Power on the appliance.

3.  Let the appliance to boil. After the boiling

process, unplug from the wall outlet. Wait
until the appliance to cool down and then
empty the water tank.

4.  Remove the remaining water by pressing

the manual pump.

5.  Cut a lemon into four pieces, wrap the

lemon in a clean cloth and place it inside
the water tank.

6.  Fill water until the water level reaches full

line marking. Let the appliance to boil and
retain the heat for about one hour.

7.  Pour out the water and use a nylon brush to

clean the water tank.

8.  To remove the smell of the lemon, fill the

water until the water level reaches the full
line marking and boil the water again, then
dispose all the boiled water.
