Functions:
The new MASTER BLASTER 1200™ fog machine comes with
E.T.S., for continuous heating-regulation. This foggers also
carries a new innovation in fog machine technology, a user
cleanable heater. The MASTER BLASTER 1200™ operates
via a 25 ft. wired remote control that comes mounted into the
unit. The remote may be removed by unscrewing the four (4)
thumb screws that hold it to the base. The unit also contains a
removable, two quart reservoir. The unit is DMX compatible and
may be linked via XLR connectors.
Electronic Thermal Sensing / E.T.S.:
This feature allows you to have fog output available at almost
any time. A small on board micro processor constantly monitors
the operating temperature of the fog machine. When the fog
machine drops ONE degree in temperature, the E.T.S. automati-
cally senses this change and turns the heater on to raise the
temperature that one degree lost. This enables the end user
to have fog output at anytime. The only time fog will not be
available is at the end of the machines duty cycle (The fog output
was maxed out and the heater has to reheat completely)
Operating Instructions:
Place your fog machine in a well ventilated area. Be sure your
fogger is placed on a flat surface or has been hung securely.
Be sure your fogger remote has been plugged in securely. If
you are using your fogger in DMX mode, be sure your fogger
is connected to a DMX line and the dip switches on the rear of
the unit have been properly set. Always maintain an adequate
supply of Elation Fog Juice™ in the fluid reservoir. Running
the fog machine dry will cause pump failure and or clogging.
Running a fog machine dry is the largest cause of fog machine
failure. Only Elation Fog Juice™ is recommended and not all fog
juice is created equal. Plug your fog machine into a standard
110V/120V supply. Once the machine is plugged in and turned
Operating Instructions Cont.:
on, the power switch and a red L.E.D. on the remote will begin to
glow indicating the unit is receiving power. The unit has a warm
up time of ten minutes.
After the unit has warmed up, a GREEN L.E.D on the remote will
light indicating the unit is ready to emit fog. To emit fog, press the
green manual button on the remote. Fog output will continue until
the manual button is depressed. You can have approximately 30
seconds of fog burst before the unit has to recycle and reheat. If
the GREEN L.E.D. is on and fog does not come out after holding
the button down for 30 seconds, check the fluid tank and hose to
make sure there is fluid going through the hose. If fluid seems to
be traveling through the line, try one more 30 second burst. If the
machine still fail to emit fog do not try. Shut down your machine
and return it to your dealer. It may require service.
Remote Control:
The fog machine comes with a full function remote control.
The remote control is connected to the rear of the unit. Be
sure to connect the remote to the proper jack. Do not try to
force the remote connection in to the jack. You could damage
your remote. The remote has three LED’s that will indicate the
different functions.
