3. Purpose and intended use
The ELANEE support belt is an orthopaedic belt, consisting of a belt with fully
adjustable Velcro fastener, elastic straps as well as stabilising back rods and is
designed for short-term use in the area of the lower back. It is intended to be worn
by women during pregnancy to ease pain in the back or pelvic girdle and after
giving birth to stabilise the abdominal wall.
4. Areas of Application
The ELANEE support belt is for expectant mothers with back pain or pelvic girdle
pain.
