NTRODUCTION
Boasting 150 Watts per channel at 2 ohms, the Z•300 is designed
and engineered to be the definitive cornerstone component for any
high fidelity audio system. The Z•300’s discrete output circuitry
easily powers up to four pair of 8 ohm speakers simultaneously,
eliminating the need for speaker selector boxes or load protection
devices. Buffered loop outputs provide easy connection of additional
amplifiers––a necessity when you are creating that “monster” home
theater or multi-room audio system where more than two channels
are required.
With its 1.75” low profile and elegant front panel design, the Z•300
Power Amplifier looks great and fits perfectly in any entertainment
center or rack of source equipment. Its small stature makes room for
bulkier components that normally require two and sometimes three
or four rack spaces.
...QUALITY DESIGN
At the heart of this amplifier’s benchmark design you’ll find quality
components and workmanship. Integrated output topology
guarantees audiophile sound–– power connections to each channel
from the whisper-quiet torroidal transformer maintain channel
separation, eliminating crosstalk and intermodulation distortion.
Three parallel amplifiers per channel provide high-current drive for
high-impact bass performance. An extremely low THD rating,
exceptional signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic frequency response
translate into true audio prowess.
The Z•300 also features three pair of gold-plated 5-way binding
posts for easy connection of multiple speaker pairs, a Remote Audio
Mute Circuit that eliminates any “noise” that might come through
the speakers when the source components are not in use, and
“installer-friendly” Channel Level Adjustments which are easily
accessible via the front panel.
Robust circuit protection is a standard in all Z•Series products.
Independent thermal and short circuit protection has been
implemented to protect the unit in the harshest operating conditions.
Outputs are safeguarded against over/under voltages, overloads
(including shorts), thermal runaway and instantaneous temperature
peaks. The design has been extensively tested to assure optimal
performance.
