Troubleshooting
Service may be interrupted if frequency disruptions occur in the form of transients in the network such
as a power cut or loss of district heating.
Operational disruptions
If disruptions occur, always start by checking the signal quality and that the device is in contact with the
server.
•
If signal quality is poor, move the antenna so that a better signal is established.
•
If server contact is not established, reboot the device.
•
If server contact cannot be established, contact El-Björn.
•
Check that district heating is being supplied
•
Check the electrical supply
Power cut
If there is a power cut the battery will supply the unit with power.
•
The display will continue to operate and settings will be retained
•
Current values from selected sensors will be displayed
•
An alarm will be activated if a service contract is in place
•
You can still log in during a power cut
•
The battery supplies power for 30–60 minutes
•
If a power cut lasts longer than the battery capacity it means that when it restarts the substation
will use the preset STD values, not the locally configured values.
Disconnection
Disconnect the power supply to the device before starting to dismantle it. If the storage period is longer
than 5 months, the battery must be trickle charged.
Servicing
Clean the main unit and the sensors between use. If it is necessary to extend the exterior temperature
the wires must not be short-circuited. Disconnect the electrical supply and battery before working on
the antenna.
Maintenance
Calibrate the sensors and make sure the connection cables are in good condition (in working order).
