12. Troubleshooting
The electronic signal indicator (A1-2) lights up
and the load speed decreases.
There is too
much load on the machine! Run the machine in
idling until the electronic signal indicator switches off.
The machine does not start. The electronic
signal indicator (A1-2) flashes. The restart
protection is active. If the mains plug is inserted
with the machine switched on or if the power supply is
restored following an interruption, the machine does not
start up. Switch the machine off and back on again.
13. Maintenance
Disconnect the mains plug or remove the battery pack
from the machine before starting any maintenance work.
It is possible that particles deposit inside the power tool
during operation. This impairs the cooling of the power
tool. Conductive build-up can impair the protective
insulation of the power tool and cause electrical hazards.
The power tool should be cleaned regularly, often and
thoroughly through all front and rear air vents using a
vacuum cleaner or by blowing in dry air.
Prior to this operation, separate the power tool from the
power source and wear protective goggles and a dust
mask.
13.1 Replacement of the rubber ring of the drive
roller
See page 6, figures L1 to L7.
a) Hold down the locking button (A2-5) on the gear
housing while at the same time loosening the drive
roller (A1-7) counterclockwise with the clamping
wrench (figure L1).
b) Turn counterclockwise and remove the drive roller
(figure L2).
c) Loosen all three screws on the top of the drive roller
to remove the guide plate (A1-8) (figures L3 and L4).
d) Cut the rubber ring of the drive roller completely
with a craft knife and remove it from the drive roller
(figures L5 and L6).
e) Place the new rubber ring on the drive roller (L7) and
mount it again on the machine. To do this, repeat
steps a) to c) in reverse order.
13.2 Replace the O-rings on the pulley
See page 3, figures D1 to D4.
a) Loosen screws 1, 2 and 3 to remove the guide bar
(A1-6) (figure D1).
b) Remove the pulley (A1-5) (figure D2).
c) With the help of a pointed object (e.g. a needle)
remove the O-rings to be changed from the pulley
(figure D3).
d) Install the new O-rings:
Small rings belong on the outside, the larger O-ring in
the middle of the pulley.
e) Reinstall the pulley and the guide bar on the housing
by repeating steps a) and b) in reverse order (figure
D4).
Use only original Eisenblätter spare parts. With
other, not exactly fitting O-rings, the perfect
functionality of the machine cannot be guaranteed!
Matching O-rings and rubber rings can be reordered
from your retailer oder directly from Eisenblätter.
14. Repairs
Repairs to power tools must only be carried out by
qualified electricians!
If the connection lead is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special connection lead.

15. Environmental protection
The generated sanding dust may contain harmful
substances: dispose of appropriately.
Observe national regulations on environmentally
compatible disposal and on the recycling of disused
tools, packaging and accessories.
Only for EU countries: never dispose of power
tools in your household waste! In accordance
with European Directive 2002/96/EC relating
to electrical and electronic waste and implementation of
national law, used electrical tools must be collected
separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner at recycling centers.
