Changing the Filter Bag
(depending on the
configuration)
1. Pull the unlocking button of the dust space lid
and open the dust space lid until it snaps into
place.
2. Close the filter bag with the drawstring.
That way, the full paper filter is hygienically
sealed.
Pull the filter bag upwards and dispose of it. Push
in the new paper filter completely. The dust space
lid will only close if a filter bag or alternatively an
Airbox has been inserted.

Dust bags are disposable articles. They must not be used multiple times because
plugged pores reduce the suction power.
To check:
· Attach the floor nozzle. All other nozzles affect the functioning of the dust bag change display.
· Switch on the vacuum cleaner and set the suction power selector (if available) to full suction power.
· Lift the floor nozzle off the floor by a small amount.
If the dust bag display shows a full dust bag, then you must change the dust bag.
What you should know about how the dust bag change display works.
The display is designed to work with mixed dust, as is mainly found in the home. This includes hair,
carpet fluff, threads, sand, and so on.
However, if you vacuum up a great deal of fine dust, for example drilling dust, sand, plaster, or flour,
the pores of the dust bag will become clogged. Then, the dust bag change display will show “full”, even
if the dust bag is not yet full. The dust bag must then be changed, since the suction power has been
reduced by the plugged pores.
However, if you vacuum up a great deal of hair, carpet or wool fluff, etc., then the dust bag change
display may only respond when the dust bag is already bulging full.
