3. Proper use
The surfacing and thicknessing plane is designed
for the surfacing and thicknessing of all types of
whole pieces of square, rectangular or chamfered
converted timber.
The machine is to be used only for its
prescribed purpose.
Even when the machine is used as prescribed
it is still impossible to eliminate certain residual
risk factors. There is a risk of the following injuries
in connection with the required operation of the
machine.
•
Fingers or hands coming into contact with the
knife block in areas which are out of view.
•
Workpieces may kick back if the machine is
used incorrectly.
•
Damage to hearing and eye injuries plus
injuries to fingers and hands if the required
protective equipment is not used.
•
Harmful emissions when used in enclosed
areas without a suitable extractor system.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
