7.1 Topple cut-out
If the equipment topples during operation, it will be
automatically turned off by the switch (Fig. 3/Item 4).
When the heater is placed upright again (the switch
(Fig. 3/Item 4) must be activated), the equipment will
restart immediately.
7.2 Heat output and oscillation (Fig. 4)
n
Pressing the power switch (1) will turn on the
machine with a heat output of 400 W. A halogen
heating element will light up.
n
In addition you can use the two other heat output
switches (2 / 3) to switch on two more heating
elements, each with an output of 400 W.
n
The oscillation switch (4) can be used in addition
to the power switch (1) to activate the oscillation
function. The heater will then oscillate to the left
and right. The maximum swiveling range is 75°.
n
Pressing the individual switches (2-4) again will
turn off the heat output and the oscillation
function respectively.
n
The equipment can be turned off completely by
pressing the power switch (1) again.
8. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering
of spare parts
8.1 Cleaning
n
Before carrying out any cleaning and
maintenance work the equipment must be turned
off, disconnected from the power supply and
cooled down.
n
Maintenance and repair work may only be carried
out by an authorized electrical servicing
contractor or ISC GmbH.
n
Check the power lead at regular intervals for
signs of defects or damage. If the mains cable of
the equipment is damaged, it must be replaced
by a special power cable. If necessary please
contact your customer service center.
n
Use a damp cloth to clean the casing.
n
Remove dust pollution with a vacuum cleaner.
n
Never use combustible cleaning agents.
n
To remove dust on the safety grille and heating
elements, use a brush with long soft bristles.
n
In cases of very stubborn dirt the appliance
should be cleaned by a professional.
8.2 Servicing
There are no parts inside the equipment which
require additional maintenance. If the heating
elements have to be replaced, please contact your
customer service center.
8.3 Ordering spare parts
Please provide the following information on all orders
for spare parts:

Model/type of the equipment
n
Article number of the equipment
n
ID number of the equipment
n
Part number of the required spare part

9. Fault
In the event that the heating elements do not produce
heat, check if the equipment is switched on. If the
household fuse or e.I.c.b. has tripped, please ensure
that no other high-power devices are loading the fuse
in addition.
If the appliance still fails to work after you have
checked the above points, please contact your
customer service center (in Germany ISC GmbH).
10. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories out of children’s
reach in a dark and dry place at above freezing
temperature. The ideal storage temperature is
between 5 and 30 °C.
11. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it
from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in
this packaging can be reused or recycled. The
equipment and its accessories are made of various
types of material, such as metal and plastic. Defective
components must be disposed of as special waste.
