If necessary, the screw clamp (3) can also be
used at a di
ff
erent position on the guide rail (1)
(see Fig. 3).
Danger!
The hand-held circular saw is not allowed to
stand on the guide rail where the rail projects
beyond the workpiece. In this case hold the hand-
held circular saw securely in order to prevent
damage to the guide rail.
4.2 Making 45° cuts (Fig. 4)
The guide rail (1) can also be used to make 45°
cuts, as shown in Fig. 4. In this case the narrow
side (45°) of the guide rail (1) must rest against
the saw blade. For 90° cuts the broad side (90°)
of the guide rail (1) must rest against the saw
blade.
5. Cleaning
We recommend that you clean the guide rail and
its accessories immediately after use. Clean the
guide rail with a damp cloth and some soft soap.
Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these
may be aggressive to the plastic.
6. Disposal and recycling
The guide rail is supplied in packaging to prevent
it from being damaged in transit. The raw materi-
als in this packaging can be reused or recycled.
Defective components of the guide rail must be
disposed of as special waste. Ask your dealer or
your local council!
The reprinting or reproduction by any other me-
ans, in whole or in part, of documentation and
