6.2 Pulling a load (Figs. 2, 5)
•
Push the tensioning spring (5) down and into
the pull position, which engages the retaining
catch (4) in the pulley (3) again.
•
Now move the hand lever (6) using pumping
movements. This rewinds the cable (9) onto
the pulley again and pulls the load to the desi-
red position.
6.3 Slackening and releasing the hoist (Fig. 6)
Danger: It is possible for the load to be re-
leased abruptly!
•
Make sure that the load is fastened securely
to prevent it being released unintentionally.
•
To release the hoist, push the tensioning
spring (5) into the release position (upwards),
which releases the retaining catch (4).
•
Press the stop lever (2) down using the clam-
ping lever (6).
•
Hold the stop lever in this position with your
finger and release the clamping lever again.
•
Releasing the clamping lever slackens the
cable.
•
You can now release the load hook (7) and
the fastening hook (1) and remove the hand
lever hoist.
7. Cleaning, maintenance and
ordering of spare parts
7.1 Cleaning and maintenance
1. For a service life which is as long as possible
and to maintain the operational safety of the
hand lever hoist, remove dirt from your hand
lever hoist at regular intervals, carefully apply
grease to the parts after use and store it in a
dry location.
2. Do not undertake any technical modi
fi
cations
or repairs to your hand lever hoist yourself.
These must be carried out by an expert.
3. The hand lever hoist must be checked for da-
mage at regular intervals.
4. The hand lever hoist must be checked at
regular intervals to ensure that it is in proper
working order.

8. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to pre-
vent it from being damaged in transit. The raw
materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council o
ffi
ces.
9. Storage
Store the equipment and accessories in a dark
and dry place at above freezing temperature. The
ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30
°C. Store the electric tool in its original packaging.
