8.5 PRINT – MODE, SELECTION
If applicable, i.e. only if the system is equipped with the RS-232 output
option.
To enter the programming procedure menu options, follow the instructions in
chapter #8.
Select the PRINT procedure by using the up and/or down arrows.
Press: ENTER
Display: D. MAND or CONT.
To change from the one displayed use one of the up or down arrows.
D. MAND = DEMAND, meaning: “print on demand mode”.
CONT. = Continuous, meaning continuous printing mode.
Demand mode: The RS-232 output will occur only by demand, i.e. by using
the PRINT key.
Continuous mode: Data output will flow continuously in the following way:
Each time the displayed value changes, there will be data output. No printing
will occur as long as the displayed value has not changed. The continuous
mode will also print on demand.
Available print commands
PRINT – prints the current displayed value.
MAX. PRINT– prints the max. value displayed since the system was last
switched “ON”.
TOTAL PRINT (if applicable) – prints the value of the summed-up loads and
the number of loads that were actually summed-up.
DATA L. PRINT– prints all the load values that were logged in the data
logger memory since the last data logger reset.
When printing for the first time (after switching the system on) the Heading
(six lines) will be printed. The first six lines are the system's owner
identification. It is programmed by the manufacturer according to the buyer's
choice.
There are 6 lines. Each includes a max. of 60 characters. The seventh line is
the heads of the columns to be printed later.
