A58-411, flown by F/O Peter Bullock, No. 452 Squadron, Sattler Airstrip, September 1944

Peter Bullock had the outer cannon fairings removed by the RSU. He did it because he thought it ‘made the aircraft look better’. The cannon-barrel fairings
were originally camouflaged. After an accident in August 1944, following repairs to the wing, the port cannon had its aft fairing section painted in White.
