correctly. Sometimes these installation errors are confused with faults in the device.
If the problem is not solved, contact a qualified electrician. Do not try to carry out elec
-
trical repairs yourself.
PROBLEM 1: If the fan does not start.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS
1. Check the circuit breakers or the circuit breaker of the main and bypass circuits.
2. Check the connector block connections, as you did in step # 4 of the installation
process. ATTENTION: Make sure that the main supply of
power is disconnected.
3. If the fan still does not work, contact a qualified electrician. Do not try to troubles
-
hoot the internal electrical connections yourself.
PROBLEM 2: If the fan makes a lot of noise.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS
1. Carry out a check to make sure that the motor housing bolts are secure (but not
excessively tight).
2. Perform a check to make sure that the screws that attach the fan blades to the
motor are secure.
3. Some motors are sensitive to speed governor signals.
çsemiconductors of electricity. NEVER USE a speed regulator
electricity semiconductor.
4. Wait about 24 hours (period for adaptation of the device). Most of the noises produ
-
ced by new fans disappear after these hours.
PROBLEM 3: If the fan wobbles.
RECOMMENDED SOLUTIONS
All the blades have been weighed and grouped according to the results. The density of
the blades may differ from each other, since it is natural wood. This may be the cause
of the fan vibrations, even though the blades have been
adapted according to their weight.
The following measures should be sufficient to eliminate much of the vibrations:
Check the level of vibrations after each step.
1. Check that all blades are properly screwed to their supports.
2. Check that all brackets are securely attached to the engine.
1. Proceed with care. Read the instructions completely before beginning the
installation.
2.
WARNING!
This ventilator can only be used with a double pole switch with a contact
opening of 3 mm respectively.
3. The installation process should only be carried out by a licensed electrician.
4. The mounting height, that is, the distance between the blades and the ground
must be at least 2.3m.
5. Make sure that there are no obstacles in the field of rotation.
6. Make sure the fan is securely attached to the ceiling.
7.
WARNING!
Do not use a voltage regulator switch to control fan speed.
8.
WARNING!
To avoid damage, make sure that the blades are not bent and that there
are no foreign objects in the field of rotation.
9.
WARNING!
SIf the fan is installed close to the ceiling, it cannot be re-hung using
grab bars according to European safety regulations. This could cause serious injury. If
you have any questions regarding these essential safety requirements, please consult
your local ordinances.
10. Keep electronic devices out of the reach of children or disabled people. Do not allow
them to handle these devices unattended.
11. Suitable for use in closed spaces.
12.Electric power may only be allowed to pass through when installation is complete.
13. IP20: The fan is designed for use indoors. It is not suitable for installation in
bathrooms or in mainly humid areas. Please make sure that the lamp does not come
into contact with water at any time.
14. It must be ensured that children do not play with this item.
15. This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge,
if they have been given appropriate supervision or training regarding the use of the
appliance in a safe manner. and they understand the dangers involved. Not the kids
they must play with the apparatus. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
16. The disconnect means from the socket outlet has a contact gap between all the
pins that provides complete disconnection and must be incorporated into the fixed
wiring in accordance with wiring regulations.
17. See section
"INSTALLATION"
for how to fix and install the fan.
18. See section
“CONNECTION”
for how to connect the cable.
SET UP
This appliance works with a remote control.
Using the slide switch you can control the direction of the fan, forward or backward.
Warm temperatures / low setting - (forward) Fan rotates in direction
counterclockwise. The downward air stream generates a cooling effect. This allows you
to place your air conditioner at a
high temperature without giving up your comfort.
Low temperatures / upper position - (rearward) The fan rotates clockwise.
The upward air stream causes the warm air from the upper part of the room to move
to other areas.
This allows you to set your heater to a low temperature without having to give up your
comfort. (Before using your fan in this position, see point 10 of the safety tips).
NOTA:
Turn off the fan and wait until it has come to a complete stop before changing
the position of the slide switch forwards or backwards.
MAINTENANCE
1. Due to the normal movement of the fan, some joints may be
loosen up. Check support joints, brackets and blade fixation twice a year. Make sure
they are secure.
2. Clean your fan regularly to keep it looking new for many years. Do not use water for
this. This can damage the motor or the wood, or even cause an electric shock.
3. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the surface. The surface
has been varnished with lacquer to minimize the effects of fading and aging.
4. You do not need to grease the fan. The engine has a permanent lubrication system.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR TROUBLESHOOTING
If you have problems operating your new ceiling fan, the mounting, installation, or
3. Make sure the cover and mounting bracket are securely attached to the ceiling
bracket.
4. If the fan continues to vibrate as before, you can swap two of the neighboring
blades (in a row) to better distribute the weight and possibly make the appliance less
noisy when it is running.
