- Keep the primary air damper (4) completely open until the
water temperature in the boiler reaches 40°C, as shown by
the thermometer (7)
- Close the primary air damper (4) (minimum position), hook
the chain (9) to the rod (8) so that the chain is tight
- Set the draught register (2) to 60°C and wait for the
thermometer (7) to show the set temperature
- Check that the primary air damper (4) is closed to the
minimum position as determined previously. If this is not
the case, move the point of attachment and adjust the
length of the chain
- Set the register (2) to 80°C and repeat the operations
described previously
- Once having found the optimum length of the chain (9), cut
the excess portion.
Make sure:
- that the level of wood does not exceed the smoke plate
(10), and the wood is placed crossways in the chamber, in
an orderly fashion and without being jammed in.
- use complete loads of wood to both maximise operating
autonomy and reduce the formation of dirt. Complete loads
means the loading door is opened less frequently and the
level of comfort is maintained.
WARNING
•
Wear protection garments to avoid possible burns or
problems when handling the wood.
•
The user should be aware that best performance is
achieved after two or three days of operation, and that
in the event of excessive draught in the flue, the flue gas
damper (1) can be adjusted.
