
Safety and limitations of use
The ISBC is designed for indoor use only, in a non-corrosive environment.
Ecus is not responsible for property damage or personal injury due to improper use, failure to follow
the safety guidelines and instructions in this manual.
For your safety the system must be installed by a qualified electrician. If the ISBC is equipped with an
UPS, it has its own internal power source (batteries): there is still voltage on the outputs connected
even if the grid is absent.
Description
The principle of the Micro-DataCenter is to secure the hosting of I.T. systems in the same way as a
legacy data center. We protect the systems against intrusion and the penetration of foreign bodies by
a high protection rate, against overheating by a closed loop air conditioning (recycled air). The cabinet
is divided into two distinct temperature areas:
- the cold zone, located at the front of the rack, the front of the IT equipment.
- the hot zone at the back of the rack, the back of the IT equipment, where the calories of the
equipment in operation are evacuated.
