Input Methods
The EJ400T provides five methods of characters input: Hiragana, Katakana,
Kanji, Strokes, and Radical. Hiragana is set by default. While in the Japanese
layout, choose the desired input method.

Press SHIFT+

, then move the highlight to the desired input method and
press Enter.
Symbol corresponding to the selected method will be shown in the lower left
corner of the display.
Hiragana
This method allows you to input Hiragana syllabary characters by their Latin
transcriptions.
•
Start typing from the keyboard.
As you type, the sequence of Latin letters automatically converts to Hiragana.

This method works on the same principle as Hiragana except for the entered
Latin letters convert to Katakana. Katakana syllabary is presented below.
