placed is stable.
· Do not used the iron if it has been dropped, if there are
visible signs of damage or if there are leaks.
· The appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age
and by persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities,
or by those with a lack of experience and knowledge if they
are supervised or if they have been given appropriate
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the risks involved. Children must not
use the appliance as a toy. Unsupervised children must not
clean or carry out any maintenance on the appliance.
· Keep the iron and cable out of reach of children under 8
years of age when plugged in or when cooling.
· Do not operate the iron with the water tank cover open.
· If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, its representative or a qualified person in order
to avoid any danger. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. To avoid overloading the circuit, do not operate any
other high-voltage appliances on the same circuit.
2. If an extension cable is absolutely necessary, use a
10A cable. Cables with lower amp ratings may overheat.
Pay attention to where you place the cable to ensure you
pull the cable to remove the plug from the socket; to do this,
always hold the plug and pull.
· Do not let the cable touch hot surfaces. Allow the iron to
cool completely before storing. When storing the iron, wind
the cable up without making it too tight.
· Always disconnect the iron from the power supply when
filling it with water or emptying it, and when not in use.
· Do not switch the iron on if the cable is damaged and if the
iron has fallen or is damaged. To avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not disassemble the iron. Take it to a service centre
to have it checked and repaired. Reassembling it incorrectly
risks causing an electric shock when using the iron.
· Extreme caution is required in the event that iron is used
by or near children. Do not leave the iron unattended when
plugged in or when on the ironing board.
· Burns may result if the hot metal part, hot water or steam
comes into contact with skin. Take care when placing the
iron face down as there is hot water in the water tank.
· If the malfunction light turns on, the iron is not
functioning normally. Unplug the from the power supply
and take the iron to be repaired by a technically qualified
professional.
· Use the iron on a flat, stable surface. When the iron is
placed on its base, ensure that the surface on which it is

.
Warning: for delicate fabrics, it is
recommended that you dampen the
fabric with the spray function or place
a damp cloth between the iron and
the fabric. To avoid stains, do not use
the spray on silk or synthetic fabrics.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
EFFECTIVE IRONING
It is recommended that you use low
temperatures with fabrics that have
irregular finishings (sequins,
embroidery, satin etc.)
If the fabric is a mix (e.g. 40% cotton,
60% synthetic), select the
temperature of the fabric that
requires the lowest temperature.
If you don't know the composition of
the fabric, determine the temperature
by testing a hidden corner of the item
of clothing. Start with a low
temperature and increase it gradually
until you reach the ideal temperature.
Do not iron any areas with sweat
stains or other marks: the heat of the
soleplate will press the marks into the
fabric, making them impossible to
remove later.
The size is more effective if you use
the iron dry at a moderate
temperature: excessive heat will
scorch it and risks creating a yellow
mark.
To avoid shine on silk, wool or
synthetic clothing, iron the reverse
side of these items.
To avoid shine on velvet, iron in a
single direction (following the
direction of the fabric) and do not
press down on the iron.
The more clothes you put in the
washing machine, the more creased
they become. This also occurs when
the centrifuge revolutions are higher.
Many fabrics are easier to iron when
they are not completely dry.
For example, silk should always be
ironed damp.

When using an iron, you must follow basic safety measures,
including the following:
BEFORE USE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN FULL
· Use the iron only for the purpose for which it was designed.
· To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not submerge the
iron in water, nor in any other liquid.
· The iron must always remain in the "min" position before
plugging in or unplugging from the power socket. Do not
do not trip over it.
More specifically:
DO NOT
let children or persons without training use the
appliance unsupervised.
NEVER
submerge the iron, cable or plug in liquid.
DO NOT
let the hot iron touch fabrics or very
inflammable surfaces.
DO NOT
leave the appliance plugged in unnecessarily.
Unplug it from the power supply when not in use.
NEVER
touch the appliance with damp or wet hands.
DO NOT
pull the power cable or the appliance to remove
it from the power socket.
DO NOT
expose the appliance to adverse weather (rain,
sun etc.)
DO NOT
leave the iron unsupervised when it is
connected to the power supply.
DO NOT
fill the water tank without first unplugging the
appliance from the power socket.
WARNING
Do not use chemical additives, scented substances or
limescale removers. Ignoring the rules mentioned above
may render the guarantee void.
