Table 8
Timer/Alarm
LED — number
of fl ashes:
Fault condi-
tion
Description
1
Room air sen-
sor fault
If the room air sensor is disconnected, damaged or mal-
functions the Timer/Alarm LED will fl ash one (1) time to
signify that a fault has occurred. Operation of heating and
cooling will stop. Th
e fan will continue to operate.
2
Condensate
fault
If the control senses a condensate fault condition, either
through the condensate pumps safety switch or the drain
pan sensors, the Timer/Alarm LED will flash two (2)
times to signify that a fault has occurred. Th
e compressor
will switch off for a minimum of three (3) minutes AND
until the fault condition is corrected. Aft er that, as long as
the thermostat is calling for cooling the compressor will
restart.
3
ID coil sensor
fault
Th
e indoor coil sensor monitors the temperature of the
indoor coil. If a freeze condition is detected continuously
for three (3) minutes, the Timer/Alarm LED will fl ash three
(3) times to signify that a fault has occurred. Th
e compres-
sor will switch off for a minimum of three (3) minutes AND
until the fault condition is corrected. Also, if the micropro-
cessor detects a coil freeze condition four (4) times within a
24 hour period, the clean fi lter indicator will appear.
4
Clean fi lter
To aid in fi lter maintenance, the cassett e controller will
indicate when a schedule fi lter cleaning is required by fl ash-
ing the Timer/Alarm LED. During normal operation the
microprocessor will keep track of the unit’s run time. When
the clean fi lter time has elapsed, the Timer/Alarm LED
will fl ash four (4) times to indicate that the fi lter needs to
be cleaned. Th
e clean fi lter time is selectable through the
Confi guration mode. Available sett ings are 250, 500, 750,
1000, and 1250 hours. For Wall Th
ermostat mode, the
default time is 1000 hrs. Th
is cannot be changed. If a coil
freeze condition is detected four (4) times within a 24 hour
period, the Clean Filter Alarm will appear.
Aft er fi lter maintenance has been performed, press the
Clear Filter Warning Butt on for three (3) seconds. Th
e
control will respond with a beep to indicate that the timer
has been reset.
