On the basis of the Council Directive of the European Communities dated 23 March 1994
(94/9/EC), the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt certifies the fulfilment of the fundamental
health and safety requirements for the conception and construction of devices and protective
systems for intended use within explosive areas in ac cordance with appendix II of the directive.
The results of the examination are specified in the confidential evaluation and test report
PTB Ex 09-29105.

The basic health and safety requirements are met by virtue of conformance with
EN 60079-0:2006,
EN 60079-15:2005

If the certification number is followed by an "X", then this indicates that special conditions exist for
the safe operation of the device. These special conditions are contained in the attachment to this
certificate.

accordance with Directive 94/9/EC. Further requirements contained in this directive apply to the
production and marketing of this device.
