Once you have defined the number of devices needed
and the exact location of each, do the following:
1.
Remove the mounting bracket from the device.
2.
Use the bracket as a template to make holes in the
ceiling
3. Drill and insert the rawl plugs, and using the sup-
plied screws fix the bracket.
4.
Line up the slot of the bracket and the detector.
Push the detector onto the mounting bracket and
turn it clockwise to fix it into place. (Pull outward
on the detector to make sure it is securely at

tached to the mounting bracket).
5.
Insert the 9V alkaline battery with the correct po

larity.
