The  Eco  2  has  been  fitted  with  a  permanent  stop  that  prevents  closure  of  the  secondary  air  slider. 

Removal of this will lead to the appliance potentially causing smoke emissions. Without the permanent 

stop in place the appliance is not an exempt appliance and so may leave the householder liable for a fine
