Remove the cold-water connection from the
unit, remove the flow limiter and clean it

Remove the heat exchanger from the unit
by releasing the mounting springs (2) and
the clamp at the front. Use pressurised air
to blow the exchanger clean; if necessary,
rinse with a slightly (10%) hydrochloric acid
solution

High limit thermostat defective
Replace the maximum thermostat

Check the minimum setting of the unit and
the nozzle for a proper diameter.
