Make sure, before replacing the individual parts,
that all components are very clean. Please make
sure that no coffee grounds remain in the threads,
since it will not be able to be screwed back
together if this is the case. A drop of silicone
based oil on the thread and on the O-ring of the
removed bracket makes it easier to reinstall the
bracket.
For faster assembly, turn the upper burr by hand
to the lower one. Then, from this position, back
again in about a ½- ¾ turn.
Next reassemble the grinder dial.
Readjust the chosen grind level while the grinder
is in use.
7 TIPPS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
There are many factors that affect espresso preparation. The coffee parameters have to be adapted
according to the type of coffee, the ambient temperature and the humidity to achieve a permanent optimum
result.
In the following table a few common error patterns are listed regarding the coffee result and the functioning
of the grinder itself. In general, we recommend not to change more than one parameter at a time to be able
to get back to the original state in case the result of changing the parameter is negative.
Parameters that you are able to influence are: grinding degree, coffee quantity and tamping pressure on the
coffee.
