HOW TO RESET THE RECEIVER

10. HOW TO DO A SOFTWARE UPGRADE

NOTE

There are different procedures for a reset of the receiver.

■

Delete channels - to delete all channels from the channel and favorite lists.

■

Factory reset - to return to the factory defaults and pre-programmed channel lists.

■

Full reset - to delete all settings and start with the Guided setup.

Only the procedure for a Full reset followed by the Guided setup is given.

NOTE

This procedure is applicable to standard installations with a single dish and LNB. 
Please refer to the Initial setup procedures for DiSEqC1.2 and GoTo X installations.

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Select User data - 

Maintenance - Full reset 
and press the OK key.

3. Enter your PIN-code.

4. Select Yes.
5. Wait for the Guided setup 

menu to appear.

6. Press the red key.

7. In the Language menu, 

make the required 
selections.

8. Press the OK key.

9. Press the green key.
10. In the User LNB menu, 

make the required 
selections.

11. Press the OK key to 

confirm.

12. Press the MENU key.
13. Press the yellow key.
14. In the Satellite list, make 

the required selections.

15. Press the OK key.
16. Press the blue key.

17. In the Dish installation 

menu, make the required 
selections:

18. Select the satellite option.
19. Press the OK key and 

make your selection.

20. Select the transponder 

option.

21. Press the OK key and 

make your selection.

22. Use the signal indicator to 

check the signal strength 
and quality.

23. Press the green key to 

start Search channels.

If you have trouble to get a download with the latest software version, please ask your 
retail seller or dealer for assistance

1. Press the MENU key.
2. Select User data - 

Maintenance - Software 
Upgrade and press the 
OK key.

3. The default settings are 

pre-programmed.

4. Select Start to begin the 

Software upgrade.

5. Follow the instructions as 

given in the progress 
screens.

6. If you want to download 

from another satellite, 
please visit our web site 
for detailed instructions.
