5-1 Adjusting belt tension

NOTE:

 Belt tension becomes loose depend on 

running hours. Make sure to adjust the belt tension 

when it loosens.

1. Turn 2 bolts (B) counterclockwise about 1 turn 

with 13 mm socket wrench.

2. Turn bolt (C) until aligning position of washer (D) 

with mark (E) on clutch cover as shown.

3. Tighten 2 bolts (B).

NOTE: 

Tightening torque is 23 - 27N•m (230 - 270 

kgf•cm) (200 - 235 in•lbf).
