Before you start
4. Put the battery cover, and fasten the hook and loop fasten-
ers on the left and right sides in a reverse procedure.
5. Fasten the belt on the front with the hook and loop fastener
with the belt through the buckle in reference to the illustra-
tion.
6. Remove the adapter holder and put it into the side where the
power cable comes out. It can be removed by taking off the
hook and loop fastener inside the adapter holder.
Fixing power cable
The power cable between the battery and the power tool has
length with a margin. Clamp the power cable because it may
get caught by an arm or branches of trees, or get cut with the
power tool during operation if the power cable is loose.
1. Assemble a cable guide hook on a hook among those which
are assembled at four portions on the harness in such a po-
sition that it will be easy to use.
2. Put the power cable through the cable guide hook.
Adjusting the harness
1. Loosen the waist belt, shoulder belt, chest belt and rear belt
before shouldering it.
2. Shoulder the battery pack.
3. Adjust the shoulder belts on the left and right sides to posi-
tion the waist pad on the waist.
Pull: Shorten the belt
Raise buckle: Loosen the belt.
4. Adjust the length of the waist belt, and connect the buckle.
5. Adjust the length of the chest belt, and connect it. Adjust the
vertical position of the chest belt.
6. Adjust the length of the rear belt to fit your body.

NOTE
The interval between the left and right shoulder belts can be ad-
justed with the length of the chest belt which connects the left
and right belts.
