SETUP
1. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the USB Type-C input and a USB source (not
supplied) or open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert 4 x AA batteries into the battery compartment. Observe the correct polarity
of the batteries marked in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
4. Extend the telescopic antenna and adjust its orientation for optimal reception.
Notes:
•
If the device is not used for long periods, remove the batteries to prevent battery
leakage.
•
Battery life:
If the sound from the radio is weak or distorted, or when it is difficult
to read display of the device, replace the batteries with new ones.
•
The device does not have built-in batteries. If a USB cable is used, the unit will
turn off when the cable is disconnected. It is also not possible to charge batteries
located in the battery compartment using the USB cable.

If you buy an adapter for a USB cable, the recommended technical parameters are:
• Input: 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, max. 0.3 A
• Output: DC 5 V, 1 A, 5.0 W
POWER ON/OFF
•
Use the I / O button to turn on the device.
•
When turning off:
• press briefly: the device stays in the "Standby" mode(the display shows time);
• long press: the device turns off completely.
(DC battery mode only)
SETTING TIME
The time / time setting information are only activated when connected to a 5 V,
1 A power supply. The clock functions are not available during battery operation.
1. Press the power button to switch the radio to standby mode.
2. Press the TIME SET button.
3. Press the Tune + / Tune – button to select "CL".
4. Press the TIME SET button to confirm the action.
5. Repeat steps 3–4 to set the hours and minutes.
USING THE ALARM CLOCK
1. Press the power button to switch the radio to standby mode.
2. Press the TIME SET button.
3. Press the Tune + / Tune – button to select "AL".
4. Press the TIME SET button to confirm the action.
5. Repeat steps 3–4 to set the following options:
6. Set the alarm time.
7. Set the alarm to signal (BUZ) or radio (rAd).
