SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be
integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this
appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fl uctuation or the
modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is properly
grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. It is recommended that to install residual current protection (RCD) for better protection with nominal tripping current not
exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom electrical circuit. Ask your electrician for advice.
3.
Do not use the curling iron if the power cord is damaged.
All repairs including cord replacements shall be performed by a
professional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!
4.
Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric shock. If the curling iron
falls in the water, unplug it immediately from the power outlet.
5.
Curling iron should not be left unattended when in operation. For safety reasons switch off the curling iron whenever you set
it aside.
6.
We recommend that you do not leave the curling iron with plugged in power cord unattended. Disconnect the cord from the
electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking the cord. Unplug the cord
from the outlet by grasping the plug.
7.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
8.
Do not wrap the cord around the body of the straightener.
9.
Do not use the curling iron outside or in humid environment. Do not touch the power cord or the curling iron with wet hands.
Risk of electric shock.
10. Pay extra attention when using the curling iron near children.
11. Do not use accessories, which were not recommended by the manufacturer.
12. This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and older and by the physically and mentally impaired or by individuals with
insuffi
cient experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the appliance in a safe manner and understand potential
dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations performed by the user shall not be
carried out by children, if they are not older than 8 years and under supervision. Children under the age of 8 shall keep away
from the appliance and its power supply.
13. Use the appliance only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. This curling iron is intended for domestic use
only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.

Basic instructions
Note:
We recommend that people with dyed, fragile, damaged and fi ne hair use lower degree setting. We recommend that
people with coarse, strong, exotic and resilient hair use a higher temperature setting to save time and eff ort.

For optimum results, fi rst wash your hair with shampoo and treat it with conditioner. Dry your hair thoroughly and make
sure that it is not tangled before using the curling iron.
•
The curling iron is not suitable for synthetic wigs and hair extensions.
