FREEZER INSTALLATION
•
You will also find caps for the handle and door screws, which allow you to change the direction of the door
opening.
•
Before plugging it in the outlet make sure that the voltage on the nameplate corresponds with the voltage
in your outlet.
•
The outlet must be accessible after installing the appliance.
Unpacking the freezer
•
Before use, remove all tapes and labels (except the rating plate) from the freezer. The remains of tape or
glue can be easily removed with a sponge and a small amount of detergent. Then clean with warm water
and dry.
•
Do not use any sharp objects, alcohol, flammable or abrasive cleaners, which could damage the surface
finish of the appliance.
•
When transporting the appliance, do not tilt it more than 45 ° from a vertical position.
Warning:
At least two people are necessary to transport the freezer. Do not attempt to move the freezer
yourself, as it may cause you a back or other injury.
Cleaning before first use
Remove all packaging material (in particular, remove the foam spacer between the outer condenser and the
appliance cabinet itself) and then thoroughly clean the inside of the freezer before first use.
Location and space requirements
•
Leave a space of at least 20 cm between the sides and back of the freezer and the wall to ensure adequate
ventilation. A space of at least 30 cm must then be provided above the top plate.
•
If you are installing the freezer at a solid wall, leave enough space on the hinge side so that the door can
be opened without any problems.
