SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning:
The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot
be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating
this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fl uctuation or
the modifi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Pay attention to all notices and follow all instructions.
2. Install the device according to the instructions in this manual and ensure suffi
cient air ventilation.

WARNING:
Do not remove the covers, prevent electric shock. The device does not contain any parts that
can be repaired by the user. Refer to authorized service centres for all of your service needs.

WARNING:
Do not expose the product to rain or humidity, there is danger of fi re or electric shock.
5. Do not expose the device or power source to water (dripping or spraying) and do not place any objects
containing liquids on the device, e.g. vases.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7.
Do not place any sources of open fi re on the device, for example burning candles.
8. Do not expose the device to solar radiation and do not place the device near heat sources, such as
radiators, stoves or other heat-producing devices (e.g. amplifi ers).
9. Do not cover ventilation openings. The openings and slots in the cover serve as air vents. The holes
should never be covered by placing the device on a blanket, sofa, carpet or similar surface.
10. The device is designed to be used in mild climates.
11. Do not place the product on unstable carts, stands, tripods, holders or tables. The product may fall and
cause damage or injury.
12. When you are not using the device, unplug the power source from the socket.
13. Avoid stepping on the power cord and protect it from damage, especially close to the plug and at the
power jack of the device.
14. Do not use a device with a damaged power cord or plug, that fell or is otherwise damaged, with foreign
objects or liquids penetrating the device, if exposed to rain or moistness or a device that does not
operate properly. In such cases, have the device repaired by an authorized service centre.
15. Unplug the device during a storm or if you do not plan to use for a longer period of time.
16. DVT1350: Unplug the device by pulling the plug from the electrical socket. The socket must under all
circumstances remain accessible.
17. DVT970: The device comes with a power adapter that serves as a main switch and shall therefore always
remain accessible.
18. DVT970: Only use the included power adapter (source). Using a diff erent power source will render the
warranty null and void.

WARNING:
Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
20. Batteries shall be disposed of in an ecological manner.

ATTENTION:
Danger of explosion if the battery is replaced improperly. Batteries shall only be replaced
with the same type.

WARNING:
Do not expose batteries to high temperatures, e.g. direct sunlight, fi re etc.

WARNING:
High headphone volumes can cause hearing damage.
