INPUT - A low noise, high impedance
instrument input that will interface
perfectly between the instrument and the
EBS Gorm. No matter if your instrument is
active or passive, this input will handle
them all perfectly.
Optionally, this input can also power
active pickups and circuitry by means of the
EBS Phantom Powering System. Please
consult your music dealer or qualified
service personnel if you wish to use this
feature.
INPUT - En lågbrusig och högimpediv
instrumentingång anpassar alla typer av
instrument till EBS Gorm. Oberoende om
du har en aktiv eller passiv bas, blir
resultatet alltid detsamma, du får en perfekt
matchning.
Denna ingång kan även strömförsörja
aktiva instrument och elektronik, via EBS
Phantom Powering System. Rådgör med
din musikhandlare eller serviceverkstad om
du vill använda dig av denna funktion.
VIKTIGT: Om du använder phantom
matningen/strömmatningen se till att GAIN
eller VOLUME ratten är nerdragen när du
kopplar in/ut instrumentkabeln.
GAIN - Här justeras instrumentets
signalstyrka till rätt arbetsnivå för vidare
bearbetning i EBS Gorm.
För bästa grundnivå, vrid upp GAIN
kontrollen tills PEAK blinkar till vid
högsta utsignal från instrumentet.
Det spelar ingen roll vilken pickup som
används, ingångsanpassningen justeras
automatiskt.
Det innebär att man i de
flesta fall kan få samma lyster och klang
från passiva som aktiva instrument.
Not: Rätt inställd GAIN är en förutsättning
för att signalbearbetningen i EBS Gorm
skall bli fullgod.
IMPORTANT: If you are using the
phantom powering make sure the GAIN or
the VOLUME knob is set to zero while
plugging in the instrument cable.
GAIN - Control to adjust the instruments'
signal strength to the right operating level
in the EBS Gorm.
For optimum basic signal level, turn up
the GAIN knob until the PEAK led starts
flashing from the strongest signal from the
instrument.
It doesn’t matter the type of pickups being
used, the input interfacing is automatically
adjusted. This means one could achieve
about the same brilliance and tone from
passive as for active instruments.
Note: A correctly set GAIN is vital for the
signal processing to work properly in the
EBS Gorm.
REMOTE - The remote jack on the rear
panel is used for remotely switching the
built in compressor and/or octave divider,
with the aid of the EBS-Gorm footswitch.
This input also interfaces with any stereo
standard footswitch or pedal board with, so
called, latching type of contacts.

LINE OUT - This is a fullrange output that
will drive multiple poweramps, extending
the power of the system.
This output is not effected by the setting of
the built-in crossover filter. The output
always leaves a fullrange signal.

LOW OUT - This output together with the
CROSSOVER knob on the front panel bi-
amps the EBS-300 Gorm.
Connect an external poweramp or an
active cabinet, EBS AC315, to the LOW
output, to use the low pass crossover filter.
This output is always active even if the
combo itself is not bi-amped. This is useful
for adding low bass.
REMOTE - Fjärrkontroll-ingången på
baksidan ansluts till EBS-300 Gorms
fotomkopplare för att koppla in/ur den
inbyggda kompressorn och/eller oktavern.
Denna ingång kan även kopplas till
centrala pedalbord med slutande kontakt
funktion.

LINE OUT - Denna fullrange utgång kan
driva ytterligare slutsteg för ökad uteffekt i
större system.
Den här utgången påverkas ej av det
inbyggda delningsfiltret. Utgången lämnar
alltid en fullrange signal.

LOW OUT - Den här utgången ger
möjligheten att dela EBS-300 Gorm aktivt,
beroende på CROSSOVER kontrollen på
frontpanelen.
Anslut ett yttre slutsteg eller aktiv
högtalarlåda, EBS AC315, till LOW
utgången för att utnyttja lågdelningsfiltret.
Den här utgången lämnar alltid signal
även om inte combon i sig är aktivt delad.
Detta är användbart när man t.ex. vill
lägga till mer lågbas.
