STANDARDS CONFORMITY
The KF730 Fly-Bar is designed and intended for suspending and stacking KF730 and SB730 loudspeakers
in accordance with the KF730 / SB730 Loudspeaker Owner’s Manual.
Up to eighteen (18) KF730 loudspeakers may be vertically suspended in a column below the KF730 Fly-Bar.
Up to twelve (12) SB730 loudspeakers may be suspended in a column below the KF730 Fly-Bar.
Combinations of KF730s and SB730s may be flown in the same array. Because KF730s and SB730s have
different weights, the total weight of any combination must not exceed the WLL of the integral rigging
components or that of the KF730 Fly-Bar. For combinations of KF730 and SB730, use these formulas to
determine maximum quantities of each. In all cases, round the answer DOWN to the nearest integer. This
keeps the total weight of the KF730/SB730 combination within the above-specified WLL.
Maximum total quantities for suspended configurations using a combination of KF730 and SB730
loudspeakers are:
Product
Maximum Total Combination
KF730
Maximum quantity KF730 = 18 - (quantity SB730 x 1.5)
SB730
Max quantity SB730 = 12 - (quantity KF730/1.5)
The maximum recommended quantity for a stacked combination of KF730/SB730 is six (6) KF730 over four
(4) SB730.
The ultimate strengths for the KF730 Fly-Bar and its integral rigging points and were determined utilizing
calibrated and certified destructive pull-tests.
