3.5 System connection
power input
The picture above is the 110~240V a.c. / 24V a.c. wiring method. POE power supply,
please directly connect the network cable to the input end of the built-in POE receiving device.

3.0 Installation and service
3.1 Safety cautions
Check the following items before installation:
a. whether certification number is indicated;
b. check the Ex marking to confirm it is suitable for the
hazardous area application
c. ensure all the components are not damaged and with no
defect that may affect the explosion-proof performance;
d. whether the internal and external grounding are well
connected.
3.2 Cable treatment
To maintain the certification requirement of the units all cables/
conduits must be fitted at the entry, with certified Exd flameproof,
compound filled barrier glands, suitable for the application IP68.
Use cables of rated temperature above 75°C and wires of rated
temperature above 90°C.
3.3 Fiber optic cable processing
This product does not provide an output cable. Users using the
optical signal output version, please weld the incoming fiber and
the fiber jumper provided by our company with a fiber fusion
splicer. The welding place needs to be protected by a fiber
protection tube and placed in the fiber protection bracket . As
shown below.

The insulation-fiber-removed optical fiber placed in the optical fiber
protection bracket needs to be protected by an insulation sleeve to
prevent light leakage.
3.4 Installation of protective shield and cylinder
Since this Ex camera set has high grade of protection level and
the flame proof surfaces are tightly contacted, pay attention to
protect the flame proof joint in installation. The rear cover and rear
part of the cylinder are flame proof surface, no knock or scratch
allowed. For the camera “ DO NOT OPEN WHEN ENERGIZED!”
An insulation gasket is adopted between the drawer plate and rear
cover plate of the rear cover assembly, measure the insulation
performance in cases of disassembling, the measured value shall
be no less than 100MΩ. There is a grounding bolt mounted on the
middle of the rear cover, it shall be well grounded in installation.
