Perform update
Proceed as follows to perform the firmware update:
Prepare USB stick
1) Extract the file USB_xChargeIn_A-X-S-Series_xxx.zip. The following files are
required for the update:
− firmware.bin
− firmware.chk
2) Format the USB stick with FAT32.
3) Copy the files firmware.bin and firmware.chk into the root directory
of the USB stick (do not use any folders).

1) Connect the USB stick to the
USB
interface of the charging station.
2) Restart the charging station. To do this, press the service button
T1
until the
first beep (approx. 1 second).
3) The firmware update is performed. The status LED
LED
under the service
button flashes in different colors and time intervals. The update process can
take up to one minute.
4) After the update has been installed, the status LED lights up permanently
green.
5) Disconnect the USB stick from the charging station. This triggers a
restart of the charging station.

Mount covers
In order to operate the charging station correctly, all covers must be inserted
and screwed tight. Proceed as follows:
