Service Procedure
Vertical Alignment
The recommended Antenna Assembly alignment is down .5°
from vertical. The Antenna Assembly aim angle can be mea-
sured by a digital level which is held against the face of the
Antenna Assembly.
1.
Slightly loosen the four (4) screws, using a 5/32"
(4 mm) allen wrench, that attach the Antenna
Assembly to its mounting bracket. Loosen the
screws only enough to position the Antenna Assem-
bly within mounting bracket slots.
2.
Push the Antenna Assembly back to the end of its
travel within the mounting bracket slots and partially
tighten the bottom two side screws between the
bracket and the Antenna Assembly to secure it in
position, but not so tight as to prevent additional
positioning.
3.
Hold the antenna alignment tool or digital level
against the face of the Antenna Assembly.
Note:
Do not place on embossed lettering on the front of the
Antenna Assembly.
4.
Move the Antenna Assembly until the digital level
indicates -.5° (down) ± .5°.
5.
Torque the four (4) 10/32 screws with a 5/32"
(4 mm) allen wrench to 24-26 lbs. in. (2.7-2.9 N•m).
