Sonix 350-d Technical Manual
3.4.6 Fault outputs
Both PSU Fault and Amp Fault outputs are a volt-free
contact output. The contact is closed when the unit is
healthy and open when there is a fault or power to the
unit is lost.
Some of the faults monitored can be disabled in
configuration, see the SAS Product Manual for details.
Both fault outputs will hold their output for
approximately 10 seconds before clearing after any fault
has cleared, this is to allow any transient faults to be
registered by any external monitoring.

There is no configuration option to change the sense for either
output.

3.4.7 Earth stud
Each unit is equipped with an M5 earth stud at the back
as a protection mechanism for the unit.
Each individual 350-d unit must be connected directly to
the Protective Earth with at least 1 mm
2
wire, although
2.5 mm
2
wire is recommended.
Figure 12. Recommended earth connection for the unit.
Warning:
Unit must be connected to protective
earth observing minimum cable requirements.
