Metering Submenu Icon
The icon of a handheld meter with numerical data on the
display indicates the metering submenu. From this submenu
all of the numerical data and graphic display of metering
information for current, voltage, power, energy and frequency is
available.
Harmonics Submenu Icon
The transient waveform icon indicates the submenu for
harmonic data for IA, IB, IC, IN currents, Vab, Vbc, Vca line to
line voltages, Van, Vbn, Vcn line to neutral voltages, and viewing
of a one cycle waveform of each current or voltage. From this
submenu a new capture of harmonic information and waveform
values can be requested. The individual harmonic values can
be viewed for each of the current and voltages up to the 31st
harmonic. The time and date of the capture is also recorded
and can be viewed in this submenu.
When the harmonics metered data submenu is selected, the
trip unit will perform a one cycle waveform capture to analyze
the content of the latest voltage and current waveform. A total
of 64 data points per phase is captured on all phases of the
current and voltage. From this data the individual harmonic
content data and waveform displays are fabricated.
Events Log Submenu Icon
The tablet of data icon indicates the submenu for the logging
function. From this submenu, all of the data for the events
can be viewed. The number 1 event is the latest or last event
that has occurred. The following is a list of events and the
maximum number of events that can be stored in the trip unit.
• Summary of all events (maximum of 60) includes the
time and date of each of the following event types:
- Alarm event
- Trip event
- Test mode entered event
- Test complete event
- Setpoints download event
- Power up event
• Trip events maximum of 20
• Alarm events maximum of 20
• Time change events maximum of 20
For trip and alarm events, the trip unit will move the waveform
data to a buffer. Each trip event captures 10 cycles of data,
6 cycles of pre-trip information and 4 cycles of post-trip
data. Each waveform alarm buffer event captures 6 cycles of
data. One line cycle is displayed at a time on the display. This
information is also available through communications depending
upon the protocol chosen.
Viewing Setpoints Submenu Icon
The protection curve with eye glasses icon indicates the
submenu for setpoint viewing only capability. The view
setpoints submenu will only display the setpoint that
is programmed in the trip unit. The tripping, alarming,
communication, time and date, and language setpoints are
available to only be viewed in this submenu.
